    Thirty-seven cities and major employers have joined forces this summer to spread clean energy and fight climate change by securing group discounts on solar and zero emission vehicles for residents of the greater Bay Area. Participants can also get neutral information on their clean energy options at free workshops.

    Bay Area SunShares is this year's best opportunity to go solar. Sign up to access a no-obligation consultation, free workshops, and pricing starting at 15% below market rates.


    Info​rmation on new programs

    New utility programs enable renters and homeowners with shading / orientation issues to plug into offsite wind and solar farms. Sign up for information about options in your area.


    Discounts on zero emission vehicles

    Discounts are available for the Nissan Leaf (84 mile range) and Toyota’s new hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle, the Mirai (312 miles of range). Electrify your commute this summer!

    Based in Fremont, PetersenDean has provided top-quality roofing and solar power systems to homes for over 30 years and is known for its commitment to American-made products. Pricing starts at $3.80/watt.

    Serving the Bay Area since 2008, Skytech Solar has completed more solar installations in the City of San Francisco in recent years than any other solar company, local or national. Pricing depends on system size, starting at $3.45/watt for larger systems.

    Premier Nissan has been one of the leading EV dealers in the Bay Area since the release of the Nissan Leaf battery electric vehicle. Nissan is offering a discount on the Nissan Leaf (all model and trim levels).
